Greetings,
So they released this thing in the game where you have to climb 100 floors of this tower and once you do, you gain a runic disc. This disc lets you start a new series of quests which inevitably end with you either having a new weapon skill, (called a Mythic Weapon Skill) or a new Relic Weapon (Called a Mythic Weapon).
The way you have to do these missions is with 6 people, 30 minutes, and 5 floors at a time. Seems easy right?......
Wrong.....
Have to be on your toes, and have good people with you.
A little bit of luck doesn't hurt either....
I hear all the time how people hate Nyzul Isle so much, and that they can't seem to climb the floors...
So my brother and I decided to search the land of Vana'diel for the few, the proud, the chosen that would make the climb as a unit.
Turns out, we picked an "A" Team.
Ninja - Me (Seriously... who else?)
Samurai - Sparta (Karasu)
Samurai - Buddha (Karasu)
Monk - Bracsith (My Bro)(Karasu)
Red Mage - Wiggan (Old friend from Visigoth)
Bard. - Chanchan (Friend)
Seriously..... it doesn't get much better than this. All I basically have to do is voke something and those boys demolish it.
I swear to god if it breathes they'll kill it.
Hell sometimes Sparta has to refrain from just cutting himself for lack of shit to kill......
Overall, our record is 70 Floors and 2 Losses.
70/2 is NOT fucking bad!
Hell i've known people stuck at 50 or so for weeks.
We run 7 tags all week.
4 on Wednesday
3 on Sunday
have been since the start. If all goes according to plan, we should all be done by Next Wednesday.

A little background
Hey, been a while huh?
Well.... Here goes,
Ninja is 75 now, been that way for a while. Have almost full AFv2 for it. Only missing gloves. I'd go back to dynamis to get them but i'm just burned out on it. I did that shit for so many years....
Overall, i'm glad I came back.
Was in Visigoth, a linkshell which is actually owned by Hankthetank, good friend of mine from NY, but now he's in Karasu (where i'll eventually be when I get sea access). Was leading up some sky missions etc. Ended up doing well for a few people. I ended up getting Byakko's Haidate which are really nice.
Great for my haste/WS set as Ninja.
After a while of people not showing, Sky sorta just fell by the wayside...
I left Visigoth and joined Call of Khtulu or CoK cause a lot of my old friends from Zynn are there.
We do all sorts of events like Sky, Sea (which I still don't have), Limbus, Dynamis, ZNM, HNM, Einherjar, etc.
Great linkshell, great people.
It's led by a friend of mine named Sedna and his wife Leania.

Got my cooking skill to 71.2 now. working my way towards 100.
Also working on Fishing and Summoner. The reason for this is so that my brother Bracsith and I can spam the Mercurial Kris fight and get us a few of these.
Some other pieces of note thus far i've gained (Mostly from friends help or my brother Bracsith) Thanks to those that helped!!

To Bid or Not To Bid
Ok.. I work for a really respectable company which sells things professionally on ebay. Having over 5k feedback at 100% is hard business, but doable as long as you really try.
So, here's my thing.....
What the fuck is with people that bid on shit... win the auction.... and then contact you saying....
"oops, I didn't mean to bid on that item. Can you just cancel my bid?"
what the fuck do you mean you didn't 'mean' to bid on it?.... it asked you twice..!!!
Our auctions run for 7 days minimum, and as a professional company, we try our best to research a part etc that you may need in order to provide you with a 100% accurate, nice, factual description... and with this description being what it is... and it running for as long as it does... you mean to tell me that in a very detailed description of an auction running for 7 fucking days that you couldn't figure out "oh hey.. I might not fucking need this..."
Then you have to audacity to ask me if I can just... forget about it, let it go, let you walk away scott free, while i'll have to pay the listing fees twice because of your retardedness...
Go die in a fucking fire....

The Drop System
We all know that the drop system is screwed - and any time you want a drop... to drop... it isn't going to. Unless you have like Treasure Hunter 12 or something... but this isn't really what i'm going to focus on...
What i'm talking about is the drops that should be there, but aren't.
For instance.. any seasoned FFXI Player that has played the game for a while knows that at some point in the storyline of the expansion packs you get to fight the lord of dragons... Bahamut.
NICE!.... right?...
Sorta... see.. Bahamut drops some really nice gear called the Homam set. It's a nice set of red, bad ass looking armor with some seriously great stats for just about any job that can use it.
The problem....
You have to complete both 'Rise of the Zilart' & 'Chains of Promathia' expansion packs in order to get to the point where you can actually fight the guy which is really tough.
However; you've been to whitegate, no?
Sure you have... we all have...

Anyway - so yeah, you high tale it to whitegate to check out the new shit, walk outside and HOLY SHIT! that Bard Fomor is wearing.....

The Autotranslator
Ok look people, I understand that the auto translator function in FFXI is a great addition to the game and all.... but you people are just completely abusing the shit out of it. And sometimes what you're saying (being that auto translator converts the text into other respective languages) is just completely wrong in context.
The types of people that use the auto translator can be divided into 3 classifications on people.
1.) Abusers
2.) Idiots
3.) Respectable People (These are the people that use it for what it was meant for)
Lets discuss them a little more in depth shall we?
Abusers: These are the people that seem to want to put any and everything in auto translator because they think it's cool to say whole sentences with it.
Example: {Hume} {man} {rod} {inside} {Diseased} {Mithra} {woman} {hole}. {everyone} {throwing} {up} {This way} & {That way} {Please, check it}.

That makes since... NOT
This one is dedicated to the things on FFXI that just don't seem to make any since what-so-ever or just generally piss me off for misc. reasons.
This will be updated in future blogs, but for now i'll give a few of my most annoying things about FFXI that just seem to make PERFECT since

1.) Hectes Eye Mobs: You know these friendly creatures, bout a dozen eyes on em... yet they aggro SOUND?!? wtf SE? /phail
2.) Rabbits: why is it that no matter what level you are there is always a rabbit somewhere that can kick your ass? Shouldn't we be beyond this at 75?
3.) People that sell things to themselves in the Auction House for 1 Gil. Yes, we know you have that item. So does 15000 other people, you aren't special. Read "The First......." .......dumbass
4.) People that sell things to themselves in the Auction House for 100 Million Gil. First off, your a moron for paying that high of a tax on listing an item in the first place. Second, does anyone REALLY give a shit if you have that item or that much money. Third, if you DO have that much money to piss off listing an item and paying taxes on it for the sole purpose of showing off.. go drown yourself in a bottle of Wild Turkey and choke on your own vomit. No one cares about you and your virtual life or your virtual money. here's a thought, get laid every once and a while.....
5.) People who stand in town seeking party for 10 hours doing nothing then complain about being broke. Thought of the day: GO FARM... idiot....... dammit you people really piss me off.
6.) Price jackers in the Auction house. Don't get me wrong, if I know I have the only item up for sale in the AH, and it's a desirable item, i'll add a few K to it myself. Simple supply & demand there, but when you can't buy a GKT that's 2.8~3M all the way down the list for 3.5M...... you should be hung from your tesicles until all the blood rushes to your head. At least then we'd know you had some juices flowing up there. People like you are the reason the damn GKT is that much anyway.......... thanks... DICK!
7.) People that set up events, and then ask everyone else that comes to help them what they're supposed to do. OK look... I've got no problem helping out a LS member with anything that i'm capable of helping with, but dammit... there is an ENTIRE website (actually like 10) that are set up with truck loads of information on EXACTLY what you're doing. READ IT. Do some damn research first instead of wasting your LS buddies' time/effort because you're an unprepared retard. Thanks in advance....
Man I could go on forever here and i'm sure i'll update and/or add more at a later date, but for now, I dont' want to overflow your tiny little brains with too much hate and discontent. It brings about bad Karma.
